Pay with check, money order, or via Venmo @smoothmovesdance - Always label payment with dancer’s full name! Payment may be dropped in the payment box located in the dancer drop-off area in the back of the studio.
How Can I pay?
Tuition is always due on the 1st day of the month - $15 late fee for payments received after the 5th day of the month
When should payments be made?
Proper dance attire must always be worn during dance class. Clothing should never restrict movement and must always allow the instructor to properly observe and correct body placement.

What do I wear to dance?
Smooth Moves Dance currently offers summer princess camp for younger dancers and intensives for intermediate to advanced level dancers.
Are there summer programs?
We run along with the school year, typically starting around Labor Day and ending in May.
When Does dance season run?
YES! Beginning in the 26-27 dance year, monthly tuition includes your costume fee.

What Should Smooth Moves Dance Students Wear to Class?
Students should wear comfortable, form-fitting dance attire that allows instructors to properly observe and correct body placement.
Acceptable Dancewear
- Any style leotard with tights or leggings
- Stretchy, form-fitting tank tops or camisoles
- Form-fitting T-shirts (no loose or baggy shirts)
- Spandex/Lycra dance shorts, capris, or pants
- Yoga-style shorts, capris, or pants
- Hip-hop pants are allowed for jazz or tap classes
- Dance skirts are allowed
- Leg warmers and wrap sweaters when needed
- Proper undergarments are always required
- Jewelry, if worn, should be kept to a minimum

Clothing should never restrict movement and must always allow the instructor to properly observe and correct body placement. Jackets should be removed before class begins.
What Type of Shoes Should Be Worn?
Pre-School Dance & Ballet:
Pink leather ballet shoes (no satin slippers)
Boys: Black leather ballet shoes
Important for ballet shoes:
Once the drawstring is properly adjusted, it should be tied in a double knot, trimmed, and tucked into the shoe while being worn.
Jazz or Hip-Hop
Tan or black slip-on jazz shoes (no lace-up styles)
Tap:
Black tap shoes with velcro straps are preferred.
